Dopo il Ponte Bridgehampton
About This Spot
Stepping into Dopo il Ponte Bridgehampton is like slipping into a relaxed yet thoughtfully crafted Italian hideaway tucked along Montauk Highway. There’s a gentle hum of conversation mingling with soft clinks of glassware and the occasional shuffle of plates, creating a lively but unhurried vibe that invites you to linger. Whether you settle inside with its warm, inviting light or choose a seat in the verdant, secluded backyard, the atmosphere feels effortlessly comfortable—an ideal spot for leisurely evenings that stretch into night.
This is a place where the ritual of dining reveals itself slowly, with dishes that carry the charm of tradition and a hint of contemporary flair. The kitchen’s care is clear in the fresh-baked breads brought to the table, the delicate balance of bright, seasonal ingredients, and the unmistakable character of house-made pastas served with sauces that hint at sun-soaked Italian tables. Cocktails, too, are part of the story here; crafted with a subtle nod to classic methods but darkened by the warmth of the bartenders’ personal touch, the drinks match perfectly with the relaxed and intimate setting.
The pace rarely feels rushed—a reminder to savor not just the food and drink, but the company and quiet moments between bites. Staff members exude a genuine warmth that makes guests feel recognized and welcomed, giving the space a friendly familiarity. This isn’t just about a meal; it’s the comfort of returning to a place where you can unwind while the outside world softens around you.

This wasn't my first time at this restaurant but my first time sitting in the lower lever backyard, far from the street. It was very, very nice, quintessential summer dining. Service was a bit inconsistent but it was also a Saturday night and the restaurant was full so it is what it is. Food was good enough for us to have a good experience. Highly recommend in Bridgehampton.

First time here - we enjoyed the food and the great service ! For appetizer we had pizza margarita with arugula topping - yum yam! Afterwards we had spaghetti (I had it as homemade linguine) Filetto di Pomodoro E Basilico. Both were prepared al dente and you can tell this was home made pasta. What a taste! We had dessert (tiramisu and a coconut with banana and ice cream - great choices. We will come back. Sana and Ron

Beautiful setting, indoors, outdoors and back garden Had better Italian meals in the area, expensive for the quality. Service subpar

I can always come here knowing I’ll be greeted warmly by Serina at the front & taken care of wonderfully by Jen at our table. The bartenders make a beautiful dirty martini with blue cheese olives; it’s always my go-to drink. I’ve tried something different every time to eat and I’ve never been disappointed. This place is always a special treat for me and I continue to look forward to returning!

Dopo il Ponte is a wonderful space in Bridgehampton! My husband and I stopped by on Saturday November 22, 2025 for some drinks and appetizers. Our bartender/mixologist was so polite and knowledgeable on our palate and made me a delightful drink! We hope to go back for dinner soon!

It’s amazing. The pastas are best in class. Try the tagliatelle with veal ragu or the rigatoni alla vodka. Both are flavorful and delicious. The rigatoni alla vodka had just the right amount of spice. Salads and pizzettas were also stand outs. Can’t wait to return.

We had a great experience at Dopo in Bridge. We had previously been to the location in Southampton which was also great. We sat outside during a chilly night, but their outdoor heaters made it very pleasant. The service was outstanding! The food was amazing (we shared everything so all pictures show split portions). From salad to dessert, the food was impeccable!
